The room at Roots Chew Hotel was absolutely amazing! It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, like air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a fridge. The shower was fantastic, and the free toiletries were a nice touch. The desk was perfect for getting some work done, and the free WiFi was super fast. I felt like a VIP in this room!

Personally, I didn't really use the balcony in my room. But hey, that's just me!

We had a fantastic stay at Roots Chew in Tainan. the staff at the hotel was incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with valuable local information. the location of the hotel was perfect if you enjoy being in the midst of a bustling area, surrounded by shops, street food stalls, and restaurants. it did get quite noisy until late in the evening, which may be a bit overwhelming for some. the hotel building itself was well-renovated and the facilities were standard. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 👍🏼.

my recent stay in tainan was incredible, especially at roots chew. the top floor lounge was spacious and had a mini bar with free snacks. the staff was friendly and helpful, making my visit even more enjoyable. the location was perfect with plenty of famous restaurants nearby.

The breakfast was amazing and very tasty. The staff were helpful and accommodating for giving local recommendations. The hotel is also in a great location, close to famous restaurants and street food stalls. The room was nicely decorated providing a stylish setting for the stay.

The room was too small to accommodate my family easily, and it was a bit difficult to maneuver without bumping into each other. The price of staying was higher than what I expected and the amenities offered didn't justify the cost.

Convenient location near a 24-hour convenience store. Spacious and clean rooms. Relaxing common room on the 6th floor. Friendly and helpful staff. Interesting local attractions within walking distance.

Had a great xmas stay at this cozy and charming hotel. the staff was super friendly and helpful, always making sure we were comfortable. the location was perfect, surrounded by plenty of shops and street food stalls. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was included in our stay. the outdoor terrace provided a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. the hot showers and comfortable beds were definitely a plus. We also appreciated the small but useful sitting area in the room. a great experience.

That the hotel seemed understaffed as there was no one at the reception counter when we arrived. We had to wait outside for a bit until someone came to open the door.

This boutique hotel is tucked away in a charming neighborhood with lots of delicious food options within walking distance. the lounge area is beautifully designed and the staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well-maintained, although it was a bit tight for space. the breakfast options were creative and exceeded our expectations.

The mini bar with free snacks, coffee, and tea was a great touch. The room itself was clean and inviting, and even though the toiletries were limited, the hot shower made up for it. The location was also convenient, with many interesting places within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.
